Story

Chromatic Luster
The Chromatic Luster is the boss version of the regular enemy Luster. This boss shares the same appearance with the base enemy but with magma around its head and the extremities of its limbs, and it can inflict the Burn effect. When this boss's health drops to a certain threshold, it can consume the active Burn effects to recover health.

Clair Obscur
The Clair Obscur is an optional boss that can be found in the Tainted Lumiere area in The Monolith. This boss shares its appearance with the Clair enemy, but it has more powerful attacks, and far more Health points.

Creation
The Creation is a boss that has an appearance close to a horse with 4 scrawny legs, and hardened golden liquid on its body. This boss can be encountered at the Gardens in Lumiere.

Dualliste
The Dualliste is a large enemy that wields a longsword and appears to be burning from within. This boss does not have a visible weak point but is weak to Light Damage.

Eveque
Eveque is a boss that has multiple Shield instances that protect it from getting damage. This boss can summon two Abbests during the fight and primarily uses Weapon Attacks and a Spell Attack to inflict damage. Its weak point is at the center of its body and is weak to the Ice Element.

Francois
When you talk to Esquie (or whatever his name is) at a camp. He'll say he hasn't seen a human in a long time and that they were his best friend. Gustave will ask about Francois and they'll respond yep. Makes it sound like Francois was human. It's the second time I noticed that some of these monsters used to be human. I'm guessing here as I've not beaten the game.

Gargant
Gargant is a large creature with rocks that make up its entire body. These rocks on the Gargant have golden markings on them, which appear to have grown from underground. The Gargant is unable to move the lower half of its body, which forces it to remain in the same place throughout the fight. Gargant has a unique combat mechanic that allows it to switch its stance between Fire and Ice, which alters the color of the flame appearing at the base of its body, as well as its resistances.

Glissando
Glissando is a large creature with wrapped cloth covering its entire body, and its head appears to be a hollow shell. This boss is weak to Fire Damage. Glissando can be encountered near the Crumbling Path checkpoint in Sirene.

Goblu
The Goblu has long red hair with three painted masks in the middle. It mostly uses its limbs to attack and perform combos. Goblu is weak to the Lightning Damage and can grow multiple flowers throughout the fight that allow Goblu to generate shields.

Golgra
Golgra is an NPC and Optional Boss in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. You will meet this NPC upon defeating the Ultimate Sakapatate, and entering the Chief House in Gestral Village. NPCs are supporting characters that players run into throughout the game. NPCs are found in various locations and play unique roles, such as specialists for certain services and quest-related roles such as quest givers.

Grosse Tete (Boss)
The Grosse Tete is a rock creature with a large mask that covers the central part of its body. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, in front of the Coastal Cave entrance. The Grosse Tete is weak to Dark damage.

Lampmaster
The Lampmaster is an enemy that can be encountered inside a cave in the Stone Wave Cliffs. This boss uses the power of its lamps to unleash its attack, and the visible weak spot is the longer limbs and tendrils that shoot out from its body.

Mask Keeper
The Mask Keeper can be encountered in Visages after defeating the boss in the area, which will play a cutscene that will reveal the true identity of the Mask Keeper. This enemy is weak to the Fire and Dark Damage.

Renoir
Renoir (or White-Haired Man) is a Boss and NPC in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. This boss has the appearance of a normal human, just like the other expeditioners, except he's notable for his cane. This boss can use Light-based spells and conjure a sword of light to attack.

Seething Boucheclier
The Seething Boucheclier can be found in Visages. This is an enemy with the appearance of a floating head figure, it is guarded by a variety of enemies that act as a shield.

Sirene
Sirene is the source of the voice that can be heard singing throughout Sirene. She has the power to call forth various creatures within her realm to attack the party. This boss does not have a visible weak spot and can inflict different damage types, such as Fire, Lightning, Ice, and Light. Sirene is weak to Dark Damage.

Sorrowful Chapelier
The Sorrowful Chapelier can be found in Visages. This is an enemy with the appearance of a floating head figure that is guarded by a variety of enemies that act as a shield. This enemy can apply Exhaust to a target.

Stalact
Stalact is a Boss and an Enemy in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. This boss is a beast with spiked, solid ice for its body and can be encountered in Monoco's Station. The fighting style of the Stalact is to pound its fists on the ground to create earthquakes. The Stalact will also appear as a regular enemy later on.

The Paintress
The Paintress can be encountered for the first time near the entrance of The Monolith. However, the attacks will be useless at first and will require the party to explore inside The Monolith to find her. Once you find her again and engage in a true battle, she can recognize Verso and Maelle, as if she's related to them... During the fight, The Paintress can summon Void meteors, use Gradient attacks, and cast Chroma waves to inflict damage.

Ultimate Sakapatate
The Ultimate Sakapatate is an enemy with a large shield as tall as the boss on its left hand and a red furry mace on the right hand. This boss can be encountered in the open field under the large bell on the northern outskirts of the Ancient Sanctuary. The Ultimate Sakapatate is weak to the Fire Element.

Visages
Visages is a boss that can be encountered in Visages after defeating the 3 floating head figures, which are Jovial Moissonneuse, Seething Boucheclier, and Sorrowful Chapelier. This boss is made up of floating and detached slabs of stone that make up its entire body. It is weak to Fire and Dark Damage.

Alicia
Alicia can be found on the top of The Reacher, players will have to progress through the story to obtain Esquie's ability to fly, and also speak with Maelle at camp right before reaching a level 6 on your relationship level with her to unlock the conversation to begin her side quest.

Bourgeon
Bourgeon is a tall creature that has extra-long limbs and towers over characters due to being as tall as the mountains in the Flying Waters. The Bourgeon can spit Miasma, which applies Exhaust to the targets that it hits. This boss is weak to Lightning Damage.

Chromatic Abbest
The Chromatic Abbest is the boss form of the regular enemy, Abbest. It has a similar appearance to the base enemy, except its body is covered with pink petals.

Chromatic Aberration
The Chromatic Aberration is a creation made with dark ink and disconnected body parts. This boss uses a longsword to inflict damage against its target. It can be encountered by exploring The Continent, Southeast of The Fountain.

Chromatic Benisseur
The Chromatic Benisseur can be encountered by exploring The Continent, East of Stone Wave Cliffs Cave.

Chromatic Bourgeon
The Chromatic Bourgeon has an appearance similar to the Bourgeon, with gigantic limbs. The noticeable thing about this boss is that it has glowing hair growing from its back. The Chromatic Bourgeon can also spit Miasma that applies Exhaust to a target.

Chromatic Bruler
The Chromatic Bruler has a large red shell on its back and uses a large hammer with that looks like an anchor for its weapon. This boss is weak to the Fire Element.

Chromatic Demineur
The Chromatic Demineur shares its appearance with the regular enemy Demineur, and can also use the floating mine to attack its targets and inflict Burn effects. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, north of the Stone Quarry.

Chromatic Gault
The Chromatic Gault wields a large hammer in its right hand and can perform swinging combos to attack its targets. This boss is resistant to Lightning Damage, Light Damage, and Darkness Damage. This boss absorbs Earth Damage.

Chromatic Glissando
The Chromatic Glissando can be encountered inside Sirene's Dress. This boss uses attacks that move similarly to a worm, and with strips of cloth covering its entire body. The Chromatic Glissando's eyes have a bright orange glow.

Chromatic Greatsword Cultist
The Chromatic Greatsword Cultist wields a longsword that, when this boss thrusts it towards itself, can grow even longer. This boss has a move where it will swing its sword across the group to attack everyone all at once.

Chromatic Jar
The Chromatic Jar is a boss that can be encountered by exploring The Continent, southwest of where the White Tree is located.

Chromatic Lancelier
The Chromatic Lancelier is the boss version of the Lancelier enemies and can be encountered at the Spring Meadows. The weak point of this boss is at the top of its head, shaped like a diamond. It is also weak to the Ice Element.

Chromatic Orphelin
The Chromatic Orphelin is represented by a giant Gestral-like creature with glowing eyes. The Chromatic Orphelin uses a nail and hammer to inflict damage to its targets. During this encounter, this boss will be accompanied by 2 Orphelins. This boss is weak to Earth Damage.

Chromatic Portier
The Chromatic Portier is a boss that shares its appearance with the regular enemy, Portier, except it is more powerful. This boss holds on to two separate shields in each hand, but it can combine them together to form one shield that can protect it from incoming attacks, or use it offensively to attack its targets.

Chromatic Troubadour
The Chromatic Troubadour wields a musical instrument that it uses to slam against its targets to inflict damage. This enemy has a visible weak point which is a single dot in the middle of its chest.

Clea
Clea one of the harder bosses of the game and is located is on the Flying Manor, players will need to progress through the story to unlock Esquie's ability to fly to reach this location. It is also recommended to explore this location and fight Clea at around character level 85-90 plus.

Frost Eveque
The Frost Eveque is a variation of the Eveque that has the power to inflict Cold Damage to its targets. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, south from Stone Quarry entrance. The Frost Eveque is weak to Lightning damage, but is resistant to Dark Damage.

Grown Bourgeon
The Grown Bourgeon is a tall creature that reaches as high as the ceiling. It primarily uses its fist by slamming it against its targets to inflict damage. This enemy is not hostile right away.

Jovial Moissonneuse
The Jovial Moissonneuse can be found in Visages. This is an enemy with the appearance of a floating head figure that is guarded by a variety of enemies that act as a shield.

Serpenphare
The Serpenphare is a floating enemy with pink tail and various plants growing on its body. This boss has a unique mechanic that allows it to absorb all APs of the party, which allows it to attack multiple times. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, Southeast of the Boat Graveyard. The Serpenphare is weak to Lightning Damage.

Simon
Simon is one of the hardest bosses in the game and is located in The Abyss, which is within Renoir's Drafts. Players will need to get stronger and progress through the story to obtain Esquie's ability to swim underwater to reach this location. The recommended character level is 90+.

Sprong
The Sprong is a giant creature that can be found in the water. The height of the Sprong is so tall that it can stand from the ocean floor, and attack the expedition who are standing on land. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, East of Stone Wave Cliffs Cave. The Sprong is weak to Lightning Damage.

Thunder Eveque
The Thunder Eveque is a variation of the Eveque that has the power to inflict Lightning Damage to its targets. This boss can be found by exploring The Continent, east of the Stone Wave Cliffs Cave entrance. The Thunder Eveque is weak to Earth damage, but is resistant to Dark Damage.
